Of all the questions and plot holes created in Superman II, and subsequently added to and enlargened by Superman Returns, the one that is currently bothering me the most is, what happened to Ms. Teschmacher?  The woman who Lex Luthor is hanging around with in Superman Returns is clearly not Ms. Techmacher.  She is listed as Kitty Kowalski.  But then where did Teschmacher go?  At least with Otis, we see him getting left in jail early on in Superman II, so we can dismiss him.  But Ms. Teschmacher helps Lex break out of jail, goes with him to the Fortress of Solitude and then….she disappears.  She doesn’t reappear in Superman II, and she’s been replaced in Superman Returns.  Ms. Kowalski acts an awful lot like Ms. Teschmacher (I guess Lex has a type), but she’s not the same woman.  Someone needs to answer these questions…

Ali decided that it’s time for Cindi to learn to sleep in a big girl bed.  Tonight she partially dismantled Cindi’s crib and put her mattress on the floor for Cindi to sleep on.  I was out at a gig while this was happening.  The end result of all of this is that Cindi is now asleep on my side of the bed, which means that I guess I’ll be sleeping in the guest room tonight….

On Friday night, I got home from my gig (which had been rained out halfway through) and dinner with M-D and it was around 11:45.  I checked my e-mail, and then started to play a computer game.  To be specific, it was Civilization 4.  For those of you who have never played a Civilization game, it has a tendency to suck your soul away.  Anyway, at around 4:30 am I told myself I had to stop.  I went to bed just as the sun was beginning to come up.

Last night, I got home around midnight again, having finished up my show and taken all the equipment down.  For some reason, I thought it would be okay to play the game again.  As I was crawling into bed at 5 am, Ali’s alarm was going off….
