Me: C’mon, Cindi, we’re going upstairs.
Cindi: (running towards stairs) I wanna check e-mail! E-mail!
That kid is weird…

Yeah…right. Sorry. It’s been a while, huh?
First of all, thank you to all of you who were able to make it out to the grand opening of the theater. It was a good time, and I’m glad that you all seemed to enjoy yourselves. For those of you who couldn’t make it, don’t worry. The theater is now open to the public. Let me know when you want to watch a movie. I’m down there all the time.
I will try to remember to take and post some final pictures, too. It’s going to get more difficult, though, because….
…musical season is starting! That’s right, it’s everyone’s favorite time of year. Every year, from around the end of February through somewhere around the end of April, I disappear. The only people who really see me are my clients. That’s because I’m generally loading in a show on a Monday, doing rehearsals all week, shows that weekend, load-out on Sunday, and then load-in for the next show on Monday. This is pretty much non-stop until April. I won’t say that I don’t enjoy it, because it’s actually one of my favorite times of the year. But it is exhausting and when it’s over I’m usually breathing a sigh of relief. This year has some interesting shows lined up, and a few other projects that will prove interesting. On Saturday, I’m going to prison again. TOVA, a group that I work with often (my first client, actually), is taking another one of their shows into the SCI prison system, so on Saturday we will be going to Graterford Prison to do the show and later in March we’ll be going back to SCI Chester. It’s always a fascinating experience to do a show “on the inside”. I’ve also got a production loading in on Sunday for Westminster Choir College that is using 29 body mics. That’s more than most Broadway shows. It’s more than I’ve ever done on a show. My current top number has been 24, so this will be an interesting experience for me, as well.
But like I said, I enjoy it. You’ll probably hear me grumble a bit (if you hear me at all), but don’t be fooled. I’m actually having a good time. See you on the other side….
Alright, ya brigand, I’ll play your little game….
