Right. Weblog. I suppose I should get a few things on here. Okay, here goes, in no particular order:
- Chicago (the movie) was rather good. Go see it.
- The TMBG concert on the 28th was, no question, the best TMBG concert I have ever been to, and I’ve been to quite a few of them. They played a lot of old songs, but revamped and played in new ways. They played a bunch of new songs that I wasn’t familiar with and still enjoyed quite a bit. They even played a brand new song that’s not on any of the albums. The crowd seems to have mellowed out from the last time I went to a TMBG concert because there was no moshing. The sound was pretty good despite being ridiculously loud at a few points. And if you’re going to Irving Plaza, it’s worth getting there early so you can get a spot at the railing in the balcony. Definitely the place to be…
- The only difference, in my world, between the weekdays and the weekends is that my wife is around and my friends aren’t at work. Therefore, every day since the 21st has been either a Saturday or a Sunday for me.
- Apparently I can’t watch a movie in my house anymore that has either the sound of a doorbell or the sound of a car horn in it anymore, as it will cause a massive round of barking each time. Listen…we’ve tried the dog thing, the experiment was given over six months, and I think it’s just not working out.
- Don’t mess with Garrison Keeler’s peanut butter cups.
As if you needed further proof of how stupid my wife’s dog is, she has now taken to eating cat poop out of the litter boxes.
Oh yeah…if you come to my house…don’t let the dog lick you.
*sigh* Well, now it’s a slushy Christmas. Thats…almost…as good.
:\
No more dreaming. It’s a white Christmas. Happy Holidays, everyone!
Pepsi replaces Britney with Beyonce
Excellent. Another crushing defeat for Britney.
For those of you who are in any way connected to an educational institution, I’d like to turn your attention to EFollett.com. Let me explain….(no, is too much. Let me sum up)
I needed to order Microsoft Visio. At PC Connection.com it was $430. At EFollett, I got it for $159.
Sure, education may not pay well, but the discounts are FANTASTIC!
Well, I’m finally trying to use Visio to create a layout of the theater at PDS. It’s a lot harder than I thought it would be. Or rather, I’m fighting against a learning curve. If I had known a few hours ago what I know now, things wouldn’t have taken so long. Once I’m finished with this, though, it should make creating layouts of the stage VERY easy. As with all things, you must first learn what you’re doing before you can make effective use of a thing. So, this is a powerful tool with, apparently, a rather steep learning curve (at least, to do the things I want to do).
Okay, I’m rambling. But it’s almost 2 am, and I’ve been doing math for a while now, and it makes my brain not do so good with the working and the words and the keys being typed and the…..
Right. Off to bed.
Y’know what? When it comes to women, I don’t really like tan. It doesn’t do it for me. Don’t get me wrong…I’m not saying a girl should be pasty. But I really like the porcelin white skin look.
Just thought I’d share…
And now, an official Eh… review of “Analyze That”:
Eh…
Given the way the weather has been (hot, cold, hot, cold, cold, cold, hot, hot, etc), I really should buy stock in PSE&G. They must be loving this.
